Full Job Description
Our Client is the industry leader in electrical engineering, systems engineering, integration and the design and manufacture of high power motors, generators, variable speed drives and drive systems.
With more than 4500 employees worldwide, they operate in 4 core markets, marine and offshore, renewables, oil and gas and process industries.
They now require
System Hardware/Design Engineer
• Design and produce electrical drive control circuits to satisfy customer specific requirements in the production of be-spoke systems.
• Interpret and produce technical specifications that define control principles, design requirements, and control circuits.
• Demonstrate solid design principles, whilst applying engineering best practices in all areas of system design, to ensure that the optimal design in cost and reliability is achieved for the bespoke system.
• Produce all required technical documentation for the manufacture and testing of designed systems.
• Ensure all design work meets the current and required standards.
• Be able to work solely or as an integrated member within a team of engineers.
• Feedback any manufacturing and quality issues to Engineering and liaise with appropriate engineers to timely resolve the issues.
• Taking ownership and being responsible for the project(s) that have been allocated.
• Attend and chair technical project meetings as required.
• Be customer focused to meet and exceed our customer expectations
